Giving Back To The Sport

giving back to NJ cycling community

Cycling has been a life long passion for me. It has been one of the single most defining factors in my personal development and has resulted in unforgettable experiences and many long term friendships. I would not be where I am today without the people that helped and supported me over the years.

Today I gain great satisfaction in providing volunteer and pro bono coaching to help the new generation of cyclists.

I am proud to be on the founding board of directors of the New Jersey High School Cycling League. (NICA) The league was organized in 2014 to provide a fun, safe and high quality mountain biking program for students in grades 9 to 12. With the cooperation of our partners and our sponsors, we are able to provide a competitive mountain bike racing experience. Regardless of ability level, the New Jersey League is committed to providing a positive experience for all student-athletes in accordance with NICA’s Five Core Principles: Inclusive, Equal, Strong Body, Strong Mind and Strong Character. In turn, New Jersey’s goal is to create life-long cyclists who are conscientious, responsible and empowered.

I have also provided pro bono coaching to the Team Somerset junior racing squad. Team Somerset provides an excellent program for junior development and I get great satisfaction from helping the new generation of cyclists!
